Nutmeg Books is a used and antiquarian book business located in northwestern Connecticut, roughly five miles from Litchfield and 27 miles from Hartford. We are on Route 202 and are less than a mile from Route 8. Parking is available behind the house. There are a number of other good shops, all within a half hour drive from us. MAP

We usually have in stock about 15,000 hardcover books, mostly non-fiction, along with a small selection of pamphlets, ephemera, etc. Since the majority of our sales are to other bookdealers, we try to keep our prices reasonable.
